It’s Donya and Chris! This email is coming your way because at some point over the last five years, you checked out our website, liked what you saw, and wanted to follow along on our journey.

Over the last year, we've thought about the best way to move forward with Sunlighter, spending time to reflect on our mission and what content to focus on. Here’s what we’ve picked up:

1. You love discovering new music, but in a world where TikTok songs are dominating the music industry (lol what), you want an easier place to find it.

2. You dig artist interviews, especially the ones you can watch or listen to. We understand that now more than ever, fans want to feel connected to their favorite artists.

3. Deep research of music industry trends is our strong suit, and we’re leaning into that, drawing collectively from our experiences with artists and creatives in our home bases of LA and NY.

4. Technology continues to evolve the music industry in ways we don’t always expect. We’ll give you the scoop on innovative companies you should know.

5. Music festivals are back and better than ever. Get a rundown on upcoming festivals and what to expect.
